In this immersive webinar, get equipped with the knowledge and resources to engage students in the awe-inspiring phenomenon of solar eclipses. See a showcase of engaging media, activities, outdoor strategies and other tools to help students investigate the science behind solar eclipses, no matter how you plan to engage them with this event and others.

This professional development webinar is organized around common questions and misconceptions about eclipses. Shawn Stevens, GBH Education Director of STEM and Curriculum, and Charles Fulco, science teacher, eclipse expert, and founder of No Child Left Inside!, an eclipse education group, answer questions, and share practical strategies for making the solar eclipse accessible and engaging for learners of all ages.

CPI Inflation Calculator
Have you or your students ever come across a reference to a dollar amount from the past? Well, this online calculator from the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics will calculate what $$$ was worth going back to 1913 or forward to 2024. For example, in 1913 you could buy a house for between $1,500 and $3,500. In 2024 that is equivalent to $47, 498 - $110,830. In 1938 the minimum wage was 25 cents per hour - $5.36 in 2024.
